Excellence. Evolved. The New Bowers & Wilkins 800 Series Diamond

When you think about it, improving on something as perfect as the 800 Series Diamond doesn’t seem possible. But putting the impossible within reach is what Bowers and Wilkins does, and the latest interpretation of their flagship series is a perfect example.

B&W 800 SeriesAll it takes is a glance at the new 800 Series, and their brilliance is revealed. Available in stunning wood-grain or gloss black/white cabinets with leather trim and a newly anodized top tweeter, you could sit and stare at these speakers all day and likely feel content.

But of course, aesthetics are just a small part of the experience. Hook the 800 Series up, and you are immediately transported to a sanctuary of sonic bliss. Listen to some of your favorite tracks and experience detail, depth, and emotion like never before. You’ll discover hidden gems in familiar recordings that feel like they’ve been waiting for a loudspeaker evolution like the 800 series to set them free.

What evolution exactly? The new 800 Series has improvements in many of the breakthrough features Bowers & Wilkins is known for, including signature Diamond dome tweeters, Continuum cones, and Matrix cabinets. However, the biggest news is the revolutionary new Biomimetic Suspension in the mid-range cone. This advancement dramatically reduces the unwanted air pressure and coloration conventional cones can generate. The result? Midrange transparency not thought possible.

The following is a summary of some of the more significant advancements in the new 800 Series Diamond:

Elongated Solid Body Tweeter—Improved high-frequency performance

Reverse Wrap Cabinet In More Models—Enhances sound dispersion

Aluminum Cabinet Top Plate—Improves acoustic performance

The new 800 Series Diamond range continues to feature seven models, beginning with the two-way 805 D4 stand-mount speaker, followed by a series of three-way floorstanding models—the 804 D4, 803 D4, and 802 D4. For the flagship model in the range, Bowers & Wilkins is pleased to reintroduce the iconic 801 D4. For home theatre, the HTM81 D4 and HTM82 D4 provide a pair of high-performance center channel speakers to complete the range.

You can probably tell we are pretty excited about the new 800 series. Or, maybe the better word is giddy. We thought we had heard the perfect loudspeaker, and they built a better one.

Exceptional trade-in values are available for a limited time for your speakers toward the purchase of the 800 Diamond D4 Series.
