Sounds As Mighty As Its Name

The new Zeppelin is overflowing with B&W’s advanced speaker technology, including a pair of Double-Dome Tweeters, borrowed from the heralded 600 Anniversary Series, and dual mid-range drivers with Fixed Suspension Transducer technology, used in the flagship 800 series. Rounded out with a 150mm subwoofer and 240 watts of amplification, the Zeppelin’s sound is impressive, capable of filling even large rooms with hair-raising highs, toe-tapping mids, and thundering lows.

Stream Come True

The Zeppelin utilizes Apple® Airplay 2®, Bluetooth aptX™ Adaptive, and Spotify Connect. In addition, it features the Bowers & Wilkins Music App, which allows for the integration of multiple streaming services into a singular platform, including high-quality options like Deezer, Tidal, and Qobuz with up to 24-bit/96kHz high-resolution support. There’s even voice activation via Alexa, which is built-in.

Hi-Fi Art

The Zeppelin comes in two attractive color choices, including midnight grey and pearl grey, and features a dimmable ambient light to create the illusion that it’s hovering like an actual Zeppelin. It’s a cool effect that adds even more intrigue to a look that is already captivating. However, if speaker lighting isn’t your thing, you can just pull up the app and turn it off.

Musical Milestone

The first Zeppelin was impressive—for a wireless speaker. But this new Zeppelin—this eye-catching, eardrum seducing new version is impressive for any speaker. Will it be labeled a classic, destined for the home audio hall of fame? Too soon to say but there are some very encouraging sounds.
