Built-In, High-Quality Amplifiers

The Debut Connex speakers feature two 50-Watt Class D amplifiers built directly into the speaker.

These amplifiers have been acoustically matched to the ConneX drivers and are designed to run cool and efficient.

Enhanced Bass Response

ConneX includes Elac’s proprietary XBass Enhancer, providing a better overall bass extension and output (can be turned off).

For better lower frequency extension and to minimize ventilation noise, the bass reflex port on the DCB41 is directed to the rear, in an “S” configuration.

HDMI ARC

Connect the HDMI ARC output from your compatible television and your TV’s remote control will control the volume of the Debut Connex speakers.

USB Connection - High-Res 96Khz 24-bit

Connect a USB cable from your Windows or Mac computer to the USB input on the DCB41, and you can enjoy high-resolution audio playback up to 96kHz 24-bit. The speakers’ volume can be controlled by the computer’s volume control.

Bluetooth with aptX

Playback your favorite music or podcast from your phone, tablet or computer using Bluetooth. To ensure the best possible quality the DCB41’s feature aptX technology delivering true CD quality audio from compatible phones.

Built-In Phono Preamp

The switchable built-in phono pre-amp allows you to connect just about any turntable directly to the speakers using standard RCA cables. A ground screw is also included. Turn off if you prefer not to use.

The new Planar 1 is the most user-friendly Rega turntable. Now with preset bias force on the brand new RB110 tonearm, the Planar 1 can be set up in seconds after unpacking. Simply slide the balance weight onto the rear of the tonearm as far as it will go, remove the stylus guard and start spinning your favorite vinyl.

Every single aspect of the Planar 1 has been meticulously designed to improve performance. For the first time, the Planar 1 is now running a 24v, low noise, synchronous motor to reduce vibration transfer combined with the brand new RB110 tonearm fitted with Rega's bespoke zero play bearings. Only sharing the drive belt, sub platter and dust cover from the outgoing RP1.

Tonearm
Brand new RB110 tonearm built with the new Rega designed, bespoke, zero play bearings with ultra-low friction performance (Patent Pending). New bias assembly and integrated arm clip. It includes automatic bias adjustment negating the need for the user to set bias which makes this the most ‘Plug & Play’ turntable ever manufactured by Rega. Features ergonomically re-designed and stiffer headshell for improved usability and appearance.

24v synchronous motor
The first entry level Rega turntable to use a 24v, synchronous AC motor with a new motor PCB and aluminium pulley offering low noise and better speed stability.

Plinth
Features brand new Thermoset, gloss laminated plinth with vastly improved appearance and new ergonomically positioned on/off switch located on the underside.

Central Bearing housing
Re-designed brass main bearing offers improved fit and removes stress on the bearing itself while minimizing the transfer of potential energy. (Patent pending)

Platter
Features brand new 23mm, higher mass, phenolic platter with improved flywheel effect for improved speed stability.
