Its competitors often start at prices many times higher.

Featuring a NEW soft-dome tweeter with a wide-roll surround, the B6.2 extends response up to 35,000 Hz, delivering more realistic high frequencies. The inclusion of a Wide-Dispersion Waveguide enhances directivity control, eliminating diffraction modes typical in traditional box enclosures.

The aramid-fiber woofer undergoes a REVISED shape, ensuring greater stiffness and damping compared to polypropylene or paper. This increased strength allows for more design flexibility, resulting in a smoother, extended low-frequency response.

The THICK MDF cabinets, adorned with a luxurious black ash vinyl finish, are not only larger but also internally braced for enhanced stiffness and strength. This significantly reduces cabinet vibrations, minimizing unwanted coloration. For the Bookshelf and Center Channel speakers, relocating the bass port to the front of the cabinet ensures optimal performance even when placed against walls or in bookshelves.

In a thoughtful approach to multi-channel systems, ELAC has optimized the sensitivity and impedance of the Center Speakers. This minimizes the power requirement from the AV receiver, maximizing dynamic impact, particularly for users with lower-cost receivers.
