We’re thrilled to announce that ListenUp has been honored with a 2025 CE Pro Home of the Year Award, earning Silver in the Best Outdoor Entertainment Area category for our project, “Entertainment Elevated Outdoor Living in the Rockies.”

Crafting Entertainment in the Rockies

Designing an outdoor entertainment environment in the Colorado Rockies meant tackling some of the toughest conditions imaginable. Extreme weather, high elevation, and rugged terrain demanded solutions that were both durable and discreet.

To achieve this, our team deployed Bowers & Wilkins weather-resistant speakers and Access Networks WiFi 6 outdoor access points, all engineered to withstand freeze/thaw cycles, intense UV exposure, and mountain winds. Every patio and yard zone was carefully mapped for directional audio, ensuring immersive sound for the homeowners without disrupting neighbors.

Routing cabling through rocky landscapes required tight collaboration with landscape teams and masons, resulting in an invisible, seamless finish. We also integrated Lutron-timed shades and outdoor lighting scenes, perfectly calibrated with sun angles and user preferences.
