ListenUp and KEF invite you to experience Melissa Etheridge’s new album, RISE, as it was meant to be heard: with breathtaking clarity, powerful dynamics, and an emotional connection that brings every performance to life.
As part of a national listening event series, ListenUp will host three special evenings in Denver, Colorado Springs, and Albuquerque. Each event will transform our showroom into an intimate listening space where music takes center stage and where guests can discover details, depth, and dimension within RISE that ordinary playback systems simply cannot reveal.
A Guided Journey Through RISE
During this KEF-guided listening session, we’ll explore a curated selection of musical moments from RISE. The album will be presented through KEF R11 Meta floorstanding speakers, whose reference-quality performance reveals the texture of every vocal, the placement of every instrument, and the full emotional impact of the recording.
More than a traditional album playback, the evening will be a focused musical journey featuring host-led storytelling, behind-the-scenes recording insights, and prompts designed to deepen your connection to the music.
Guests will have time to mingle before the listening session begins, enjoy the atmosphere, and connect with fellow music fans in a space created for distraction-free listening.

Our Denver event will feature an extraordinary addition: Melissa Etheridge will be in attendance and interviewed about the creation of RISE.
This is the only ListenUp event in the series that Melissa Etheridge will attend, giving Denver guests a rare opportunity to hear directly from the artist about the stories, inspiration, and creative process behind her new album.
