The KEF x Melissa Etheridge: RISE Listening Event Series continues this week, and music fans have just two opportunities left to experience Melissa Etheridge’s new album in reference-quality sound at ListenUp.

Our Colorado Springs event takes place tomorrow, Tuesday, August 18th, followed by Albuquerque on Thursday, August 20th. Both events run from 4:30 - 7:30 PM, and advance registration is required.

Experience RISE Through KEF Reference-Quality Sound

These events are more than a standard album playback. Guests will be guided through a curated selection of musical moments from RISE, presented through KEF R11 Meta floorstanding speakers.

With remarkable clarity, imaging, and depth, the R11 Meta speakers reveal the texture of Melissa Etheridge’s vocals, the placement of each instrument, and the emotional details within the recording that can be easy to miss on an everyday audio system.

Throughout the session, host-led storytelling, recording insights, and focused listening prompts will help guests connect more deeply with the album. There will also be time to mingle, enjoy the showroom atmosphere, and meet fellow music fans before the listening journey begins.

We kicked off the series at ListenUp Denver on August 1st, and the turnout and energy was amazing. It was so great to see everyone who joined us for an evening dedicated to music, storytelling, and exceptional sound.

Denver guests also had the rare opportunity to welcome Melissa Etheridge in person for a live interview about RISE. If you weren’t able to catch the event, you can watch Melissa Etheridge’s live Denver interview and hear directly from her about the new album in the video below.

Melissa’s in-person appearance was exclusive to the Denver event, but the remaining Colorado Springs and Albuquerque sessions will bring the complete KEF-guided listening experience to two more ListenUp showrooms.
