Better bass, Sealed tight
AM-1 needs a sealed enclosure to shrug off the rain and splashes, but that's not great for solid, powerful bass. So Bowers & Wilkins engineers designed this clever auxiliary bass radiator to give extra low-end punch from a compact enclosure.

B&W wanted to keep the AM-1 small, yet tough and flexible, so the combination of a slender wall-bracket, a clever one-plug mounting system and 220 degree rotation means they can deliver your music wherever you want it – indoors or out.
Easy Installation
AM-1 has been carefully designed to be easy to install and very flexible. Designed to be positioned in either landscape or portrait mode, AM-1 combines a rust-proof aluminum grille with a rigid cabinet composed of glass-filled plastics, ensuring class-leading resistance to extremes of dust, moisture and UV exposure. And while it has very obvious benefits outside, its discreet styling and impressive performance will also find favor for use internally.
