Introducing the ELAC Concentro S 507 Floorstanding Speaker – a pinnacle of craftsmanship, design, and sonic excellence. This speaker inherits all the remarkable features of its larger Concentro counterparts while making a distinct visual impact with a blend of extravagant Concentro design and the clean lines from the VELA Series.
The trapezoid shape, wraparound baffle, and gently angled cabinet create a natural and understated appearance. The striking bottom assembly not only imparts elegance but also ensures stability, akin to a 'high-heel' effect. Beyond its aesthetics, this assembly guarantees a solid footing, contributing to an exceptional listening experience.
This speaker boasts sophisticated aluminum woofers, effectively minimizing resonances that commonly affect paper cones. The large 3-inch diameter voice coil, oversized magnet, and vented pole piece enhance power handling, delivering bass frequencies that are clean, clear, and powerful.
The crystal membrane midrange and mid-bass drivers feature ELAC's Aluminum-Sandwich AS Technology. The crystal-shaped inverse aluminum dome, combined with the paper cone in a special gluing process, results in a sandwich construction that reduces resonances, minimizes coloration, and improves power handling and dynamics.
For high-definition sound, the ELAC JET 5 tweeter steals the show with its lightning-fast response, wide dynamic range, minimal distortion, and a broader frequency range compared to conventional dome tweeters. Developed based on the Air Motion Transformer, it utilizes a concertinaed-foil membrane driven by a neodymium magnet, achieving higher efficiency, sound pressure levels, and a frequency response up to 50 kHz.
Completing the package is a custom base machined from a single piece of aluminum, with a matt, clear-anodized finish. Weighing over 55 lbs, it employs four adjustable, high-definition spikes for stability and ideal coupling to various floor surfaces, providing a solid foundation for an immersive audio experience.
