The Google Nest Protect 2nd Generation is a smart smoke and carbon monoxide alarm designed to help protect your home with advanced sensing technology and convenient wireless connectivity. Its Split-Spectrum Sensor detects both fast-burning and smoldering fires, while its electrochemical carbon monoxide sensor monitors for dangerous CO levels.

Nest Protect uses voice alerts to identify the type of danger and communicate its location, helping you understand where attention is needed. With Wi-Fi connectivity, it can send alerts to your smartphone about smoke, carbon monoxide, low batteries, and sensor issues.
