MODEL D215s Subwoofer is the audiophile’s choice, where sound quality and Transients free of overhang are paramount. There is simply no better expression of bass performance than Perlisten Audio's push-pull subs. Ground up drivers developed by the Perlisten team of engineers, Carbon fiber composite diaphragms, multiple aluminum shorting rings, massive magnets, multi-layer Nomex spiders and lightweight aluminum voice coil wire are the key ingredients.
Proprietary nonlinear modeling techniques allowed Perlisten to simulate all these components and then optimize for real world driver performance – free air and in box. Further refinement is done with the aid of Klippel laser measurements to dial things in. To take performance to another level, the push-pull drivers reduce even order harmonics distortion by an additional 10-12dB. Powered by the 3.0kW amplifier, all functions and safeties are controlled by a 48-bit data bath DSP and 32-bit ARM M4 Cortex processor, able to react in microseconds, powerful enough to slam. All D-Series subs share Perlisten's 2.4" LCD touchscreen display and ability to control advance settings using their App. Certified by THX Dominus, The D-Series subs are the world’s first. A testament to the level of design and performance achieved.
Though we can compete with the world’s best in that category, our design metric is to have ultra-low distortion to recreate the subtlety of every detail from the bass guitar to the 12 Hz stomp of a T-Rex. Innovative technology such as a 3 kW smart amp with a 32 bit ARM core, iOS and Android app to control up to eight subwoofers, a 2.4” TFT touchscreen, and a dual woofer Push-Pull configuration for extremely low distortion. This monster can dance as effortlessly as a ballerina or crush the frequencies well below 20Hz.
Starting with the tuning of the massive 60 mm peak linear excursion, spider compliance, and magnetic motor curve. The two woofers are then mounted on a massive 80 mm front baffle and operated in push-pull configuration with cancellation of second order harmonics to further reduce distortion every step of the way ensuring the best low frequency experience possible.
At the core of our amps is a 32-bit ARM processor to control innovative technologies like real-time temperature status, current and voltage monitoring, fault detection, and performance diagnostics executed more than 1,000 times per second. All of this to make sure that our 3 kW amplifiers are always in control, even well below 20 Hz. In addition, we have dual balanced and single-ended inputs with passthrough, 12v trigger, and OTA firmware updates via our app to always deliver the latest improvements. The end result is low distortion bass for the finest details with the dynamic range to meet the highest transients without compression and control at the click of a button.

If you are searching for Best-Bang-for-the-Buck, then please look elsewhere. If you are searching for Best-Bang-That-There-Is, then you should search these Perlisten speakers out immediately and take a listen. Highly recommended for anyone considering an end-game system!
The D215S arrived a week ago on a pallet. Since it had to be moved from the garage to my family room, I used my two wheel to do so. At 202 pounds it was heavy. The experience is dynamic to say the least. I was running triple SVS PC-4000's, but sold one to accommodate the addition of the D215S. After calibration with the minidsp 2X4HD, the scene from John Wick 4 where he is punching the wooden board was epic. Had friends over last weekend to watch the Charlo fight and did some demos and their mouths dropped. I would only recommend this subwoofer if you have the other components / speakers to match the performance. My system consists of: Paradigm Founder 100F's Paradigm Founder 90C Anthem AVM70 Anthem MCS 225 and MCA525 SurgeX XR-315 SVS Dual PC-4000's (nearfield) SVS Ultra Surrounds (sides and rear mounted rears) Sony XBR-75900F (Sony XR A95L 77" OLED on order)
