The sound quality is excellent, with precise, dynamic bass and warm, detailed midrange and treble. I wasn’t familiar with this brand before, but I’m thoroughly impressed. I never tire of listening to them—even after 100 hours, it’s still a joy!
The speakers are relatively well-finished and have been used exclusively for hi-fi listening. However, the response curve is not entirely linear, with the bass being slightly too pronounced, which can lead to listener fatigue over time. They fall noticeably short when compared to my Focal Aria 948 speakers. While the quality-to-price ratio is reasonable, it doesn’t stand out as exceptional.
As a big fan of the French sound, these speakers are a delight! They offer stunning neutrality and an abundance of detail. The 21 cm bass driver in this top-tier Borea model eliminates the need for a subwoofer. For optimal spatialization, ensure your listening room is at least 20m². Thanks to their high efficiency, even a modest power amp can drive them—I'm using my Tycoon 780 with 2x80W, and it's a perfect match. The cabinetry is solid and well-crafted, showcasing exceptional French acoustic expertise—all at a very reasonable price!
