Bang & Olufsen Events Announced at ListenUp for June
May 30, 2024
ListenUp and Bang & Olufsen have a long standing history together, both playing a big part in the CD revolution that swept over the world. In the 1980s, ListenUp was one of the first dealers to bring the Compact Disc to the US. During this same timeframe, ListenUp was one of the top Bang & Olufsen retailers in the country. Today, we’re inviting you to celebrate this partnership and see Bang & Olufsen’s newest recreated classic - the limited-edition Beosystem 9000c - at our Boulder and Colorado Springs showrooms.
Seamlessly connect to the present, with the fidelity and texture of the past. Stop by ListenUp to experience Bang & Olufsen’s latest recreated classic, Beosystem 9000c, and celebrate music with a luxurious 90’s feel. Beosound 9000, which was originally released in 1996, first disrupted the idea of the CD player with its revolutionary vertical disc display design. It’s an iconic CD player from legendary designer David Lewis and has now been updated for the sound of today.
Join us at ListenUp Boulder on Tuesday, June 11th from 4PM - 6PM or ListenUp Colorado Springs on Thursday, June 13th from 4PM - 6PM for food, drink and experiences. Bang & Olufsen representatives will be giving demonstrations and those who attend will be entered to win a pair of Bang & Olufsen Beoplay HX do-it-all headphones valued at $599. These over-ear headphones have active noise cancellation, up to 40 hours of battery playtime with Bluetooth, and feature a minimalistic, comfortable design.

A DAC, or Digital-to-Analog Converter, is a crucial component in modern audio systems. It takes digital data—a stream of 1s and 0s—and converts it into analog sound waves that our ears can interpret. While DACs are technically small processing chips embedded in many electronic devices, the term is also used to describe dedicated external audio components designed specifically for high-performance digital-to-analog conversion.
