Spinning Into the Vinyl Era: A Taylor Swift Night at ListenUp

A Sweet Start

Guests were welcomed with Taylor-themed treats, including cupcakes topped with cut-outs of iconic Taylor looks, themed mocktails playing ode to Taylor’s song titles, and tables covered in Swiftie stickers and colorful décor. Pink napkins, custom plates, and balloons set the scene for an evening that brought the local Wash Park community together.

Vinyl Meets Hi-Fi

The heart of the night? Experiencing Taylor Swift’s albums on a $250,000 Hi-Fi audio system. Our audio experts guided attendees through turntable basics, vinyl care, and the difference between analog and digital playback.

As part of our Enter Your Vinyl Era event, guests joined rotating sessions led by Scott Genaw, a legend in the ListenUp Hi-Fi space, who introduced the fundamentals of vinyl and record care, and John Tarulli from Audio-Technica, who offered a deep dive into turntable types and setup tips. 

These expert-led talks gave attendees a deeper appreciation for analog sound, answering their burning questions about analog audio. Swifties got to hear her beloved albums in a whole new way, with crystal-clear sound that brought every lyric and note to life.

Swiftie Stations

From making friendship bracelets (complete with era-inspired beads) to checking out exclusive Taylor Swift albums for sale, guests had plenty to explore. One fan even sported a custom Taylor denim jacket featuring hand-painted nods to every era, showing true dedication to the fandom.
