Designated an Audio-Technica Excellence Product, it sets new standards with its innovative design. The direct power system places dual moving coils atop the stylus, ensuring unparalleled audio fidelity by minimizing cantilever effects. Each coil, wound with 20 µm PCOCC wire, generates 0.2 mV output. Featuring a high-performance line contact stylus and boron cantilever, it faithfully traces record grooves. Its titanium base and aluminum housing disperse resonance, guaranteeing consistent, high-quality playback. While the stylus assembly isn't field-replaceable, Audio-Technica offers a Moving Coil Exchange Program for proper servicing.
