I have been very impressed with the Node X. Normally listen to vinyl, and streamed through the phone to HEOS on a Marantz. Sounded fine, but the Node brings so much more detail, so much more depth, and the nuances that you so frequently hear on vinyl that are often missing through compressed digital files. It's still not quite as warm as a record, but it's a **** of a lot more convenient...if you're thinking about the upgrade, it's worth it. Do it.
