Technics SL-1200M7 Special Edition Lamborghini Direct Drive Turntable

The SL-1200 Series, a staple choice for DJs worldwide, presents the SL-1200M7B, a collaborative effort between Technics and Lamborghini. This partnership amalgamates the distinctive characteristics and audio innovations of both brands. Included in this offering are a vinyl record featuring the engine sounds of flagship Lamborghini cars, a slipmat, and stickers with exclusive designs, all while maintaining the highest possible sound quality and incorporating a wide array of DJ functions.

The collaboration between Lamborghini and Technics marries the iconic aesthetics and sound of Lamborghini with Technics' legendary audio prowess. The result is an audiophile-grade DJ turntable featuring a coreless direct drive motor and a highly sensitive, robust tonearm.

The SL-1200M7B pays homage to Lamborghini’s iconic colors—Arancio Apodis, Verde Shock, and Giallo Athon—incorporated into its design. Furthermore, the package includes a vinyl record showcasing the engine sounds of Lamborghini super sports cars, a slipmat, and stickers. Notably, the vinyl itself is a picture disc depicting a tire from Lamborghini’s latest model, the Revuelto.

Accompanying the SL-1200M7B are original gifts such as the vinyl record containing the powerful V12-engine and driving sounds of various Lamborghini super sports cars, a slipmat, and stickers adorned with Automobili Lamborghini and Technics logos. The picture disc design, inspired by Lamborghini tires, adds a visual dimension to the auditory experience, enhancing the overall ambiance during playback.

The turntable features a coreless direct drive motor that ensures stable rotation. This innovative motor design eliminates rotation irregularities, known as cogging, resulting in smooth rotation and powerful torque. With precise rotation and high torque, this motor faithfully reproduces sound from analog records.

The SL-1200M7B introduces several new functions to adapt to various playing styles. These include torque and brake speed adjustment, pitch control function for fine speed adjustment, and a reverse play function, offering new creative possibilities for DJs.

The turntable incorporates a highly reliable static-balance universal S-shape tonearm, renowned for its excellent tracking performance. Equipped with high-precision bearings, this tonearm ensures accurate tracking of the record groove, even during demanding conditions such as scratching.

The chassis of the SL-1200M7B is constructed with high-rigidity materials to reduce external vibrations, ensuring optimal sound reproduction. The insulator, comprising a spring and rubber, effectively dampens vibrations, maintaining high sound quality and minimizing howling even at high volume levels.
