The Klipsch RP-8000F II Reference Premiere II Speakers are the best speakers on the market at their price points. Here at ListenUp, we've been selling Klipsch Speakers for over 40 years! We've created a quick guide on the best Reference Premiere II speaker combination to get you started in your home theater system journey. We'll start with a full surround sound setup and then give some options to expand your system.
Starting with the Klipsch RP-8000F II Floorstanding speakers for the main left and right speakers, these audio powerhouses are perfect for both 2 channel listening and movies. Make sure to check out our Klipsch RP-8000F II Review Here!
The Klipsch RP-504C II matches the RP-8000F II towers in both power and audio fidelity. For the best Klipsch center channel speaker, the RP-504C is king when it comes to dialogue intelligibility.
For surround speakers, you have 2 options. If you're primarily using your system for movies and you want the widest surround sound stage possible, go with the RP-502S II Surround Speakers.
RP-600M II Bookshelf Speakers as Surround Speakers - If you're going to be using your sound system for games, I personally recommend using the RP-600M II Bookshelf Speakers as surround speakers. They're more directionally focused, allowing you to hear when things are next to or behind you a bit more than if that sound was shooting out into the room in multiple directions.
Klipsch's new RP subwoofers are massive and deliver the best bass experience for movies, music, and games. The Reference Premiere RP-1200SW is a massive upgrade over Klipsch's previous generation SPL subwoofers. ListenUp highly recommends grabbing 2 or more subwoofers to get the full experience out of your home theater system. Check out our Klipsch RP-1200SW review here!
Looking for Dolby Atmos options to expand your Klipsch Reference Premiere Speakers setup? Switch out the RP-8000F with the Klipsch RP-8060FA II Dolby Atmos enabled speakers OR if you already have the RP-8000F, check out the Klipsch RP-500SA II Dolby Atmos speakers that can be placed on top of the RP-8000F (they can also be placed on top of the RP-600M II Bookshelf Speakers).
Looking to expand to a 7.1 full surround Klipsch Reference Premiere System? Add another pair of the Klipsch RP-502S II as rear surround speakers. We highly recommend taking a look at the Onkyo TX-RZ50 Home Theater Receiver for powering and controlling your Reference Premiere Speakers (the RZ50 even has Klipsch Reference Premiere speaker options built into it!).
