The Nd5 is encased in a zero-tolerance, injection-molded glass-filled polyphenylene sulphide (PPS) body, providing a lightweight yet highly rigid structure that minimizes stress on tonearm bearings and ensures accurate vinyl replay. This body design is inspired by our successful MC range.

Cantilever & Stylus Profile

Featuring an aluminium cantilever and a precision perfect elliptical nude diamond stylus, the Nd5 delivers exceptional tracking accuracy and captures greater detail from vinyl records.

Factory-Fitted Options

The Nd5 cartridge is available as a factory-fitted option for the multi-award-winning Planar 3 and Planar 6 turntables, offering exceptional performance and value. Factory-fitted packages are available at a discounted rate compared to separate purchases—ask your Rega dealer for details.

Rega Rebuild Scheme

Our unique pivot pad design enhances tracking ability and stylus stability by eliminating the mechanical joint between the stylus housing and the main body. If your Rega cartridge becomes damaged or worn, return it to your Rega dealer for a rebuild with a new cantilever, stylus, and pivot pad, tested and sold at a reduced price compared to other manufacturers' replacement styluses.
