Klipsch founder Paul Klipsch was a pioneer in horn-loaded speakers, which creates dynamic sound with lower distortion. This unique design philosophy has been the basis of all of the companys loudspeaker designs since 1946. Today, their cutting-edge Tractrix horns allow high-frequency sound to reach listeners' ears directly, limiting the amount of artificial reverb that occurs when sound reverberates off the walls. Put simply, Klipsch speakers are the most efficient designs available, meaning it takes less power than other speakers to produce the most detailed and lifelike sound possible.
The Reference Premiere series from Klipsch sounds awesome across the board with its enthralling dynamics and audiophile sound quality. Dynamic, powerful and detailed. As close as you can get to a real cinema sound experience without going bankrupt. Sound Vision Review
Bringing the latest in advanced acoustic engineering and industrial design to the legendary Reference name, the Reference Premiere series consists of multiple floorstanding, center channel and bookshelf models that can be mixed and matched to create a high-performance surround sound or stereo system. Reference Premiere speakers embody the ideals of Klipsch design philosophy: Low distortion, high efficiency, flat frequency response, broad dynamic range and controlled directivity.
All Reference Premiere loudspeakers feature proprietary 90x90 Hybrid Tractrix Horn technology coupled with Linear Travel Suspension (LTS) titanium tweeters to produce the most effective release of sound waves for a clean, natural listening experience. The LTS tweeters have been a hallmark in the previous Reference generations and ensure minimized distortion for more detailed performance.
Providing remarkable low-frequency response with minimal cone breakup or distortion are the speakers Cerametallic Woofers. The redesigned woofers are coupled with, ceramic motor structures; when paired with the Tractrix Horn-loaded LTS tweeters, this design makes for speaker efficiency that is highest in its class meaning you need less power to play them loud! The horns outer layer is silicon-based rubber, which eliminates resonance of the horn housing, reducing distortion and improving detail and resolution.
Each model is available in ebony or walnut wood grain polymer finish with a brushed black polymer veneered baffle and spun copper woofers. Removable cloth-woven grilles attach magnetically for an elegant look.
