Much More Than a CD Player | Marantz CD 50n

The new Marantz CD 50n is much, much more than a CD player. It’s a complete digital hub for your system—a foundation piece really, because it’s a CD Player and also a High-Res Network player/Music Streamer with a ton of other capabilities.

Of course, there is the high quality CD transport, but also, Bluetooth, so you can cast directly from your phone or computer. And then the network player portion with Heos high-res streaming platform built-in, giving you Spotify Connect, AirPlay 2, Tidal, Pandora, Amazon Music, and more. Plus, HDMI ARC, so you can run your Smart TV, movies, series, and games right through the CD 50n and get HiFi sound. Converting the digital sources to analog is a quality DAC with ultra high res PCM decoding up to 32-bit. 

You can run it as a complete digital source with fixed output to an integrated amp or as a preamp with variable output to a power amp. So you can really simplify your system down to a minimal number of pieces–CD50, amp, set of speakers.
