The new Diamond Series from Rotel has been released to celebrate Rotel’s 60 years as an audio company. And to honor this milestone, they’ve pulled out all the stops. The Diamond series incorporates many of the ultra-performance features from their flagship Michi line, making Rotel’s preference for offering power and performance over an excessive amount of complex functions all the more apparent.
The RA-6000 is a complete powerhouse with 350 watts of class AB power into 4 ohms (200 into 8) and highly refined sound quality, bringing out exceptional acoustic detail and rich, controlled bass. But it offers more than pristine power. It has an array of analog and digital capabilities, including a Moving Magnet Phono Stage, wireless aptX HD and AAC Bluetooth, along with a Texas instruments DAC and full MQA support. It’s also certified Roon tested.
The DT-6000 CD player and DAC transport is arguably one of the best Rotel has ever made. In large part because of the ESS premium 32-bit 8-channel DAC, which renders music with unprecedented warmth and detail. But also because it’s much more than a CD player. A complete suite of digital inputs, including PC-USB, optical, and coaxial, make it a hub for all your digital sources. It has balanced differential XLR outputs, and like the RA-6000, it supports MQA and is certified Roon tested.
