Control4 CA-10 Hub & Automation Controller
The CA-10 Hub and Automation Controller is the latest and most powerful addition to the award-winning line of Control4 controllers. Purpose-built for large-scale projects, it offers four times the processing power and memory of the EA-5, ensuring outstanding performance even when managing thousands of devices. The CA-10 is designed to be fault-tolerant, featuring multiple fail-safes to maintain system operation even if a power supply, network port, solid-state drive (SSD), or fan fails. Additionally, fail-over notifications can be programmed to automatically alert the dealer.
As the primary controller, the CA-10 provides the necessary power for extensive projects, while secondary controllers like the EA-5 and EA-3 handle streaming music and I/O, and EA-1 controllers deliver the on-screen TV interface behind every TV. The CA-10 is also an excellent choice for small business applications, where reliability is paramount and is backed by a standard five-year warranty.
OvrC Pro remote management is integrated, granting access to the entire network of IP devices, including third-party products. OvrC offers advanced troubleshooting capabilities and diagnostic data, facilitating remote support, reducing unnecessary service calls, and enabling you to manage more jobs efficiently through the OvrC web or mobile app.
The CA-10 can be upgraded to an OvrC Pro device by updating the Control4 system to OS 3.2.2 using Composer Pro or Composer Express. Starting April 23, 2024, the Control4 Connect software service will be required for all new systems installed in the United States, with customers subscribing through the Control4 App for iOS and Android.
