I bought the AVR-A1H for my home theater in August 2023 and it's been great for audio. It's easy to set up, with a helpful guide and options for more advanced tuning. I quickly adjusted my 9.4.4 speaker system to accurately pinpoint sound locations. The default settings were almost perfect, except I preferred a louder subwoofer. It lacks older component video inputs, but works well with modern HDMI sources, offering excellent picture quality and low latency. The unit is heavy and gets warm, so it needs space to ventilate.
Overall, I'm very happy with it. It's expensive, but worth it for its quality.
