Hana SH MKII Cartridge

The Mk II upgrade to our globally acclaimed Hana S Series cartridges enhances both musical performance and value. Renowned cartridge designer Masao Okada-san has incorporated a new tapered aluminum cantilever with increased rigidity, which significantly improves the transfer of groove modulations from the vinyl to the cartridge generator. The S Series Mk II now includes higher-grade components, advanced materials, and specialized technical processes borrowed from Hana’s elite, higher-end models, further elevating the signature "brilliant and gorgeous" Hana sound.

The Hana S Series Mk II cartridges feature a new tapered aluminum cantilever designed for greater rigidity and reduced mass at the stylus tip, resulting in improved clarity and enhanced music reproduction from vinyl to the cartridge generator.

Key components such as the Yoke, Pole-pieces, and gold terminal pins have undergone cryogenic treatment to deliver a more natural, lifelike sound.

The redesigned, non-resonant body, inspired by the Hana M Series, is finished with a matte Soft Feel Black elastomeric resin paint and features a brass cap with threaded cartridge mounts. The added weight of the Mk II cartridges improves tonearm compatibility and enhances coupling, resulting in improved bass response and dynamics.
