The Mk II upgrade to our globally best-selling Hana S Series cartridges elevates both their musical performance and value. Master cartridge designer Masao Okada-san has introduced a new tapered aluminum cantilever with enhanced rigidity, delivering a significant improvement in transferring groove modulations from vinyl to the cartridge generator. Featuring higher-grade components, advanced materials, and specialized technical processes borrowed from Hana’s elite models, the S Series Mk II further refines the brand's signature "brilliant and gorgeous" sound.

With a new tapered aluminum cantilever offering greater rigidity and reduced mass at the stylus tip, the Hana S Series Mk II cartridges provide increased clarity and more efficient transfer of musical detail from vinyl to the cartridge generator.

Key components, including the Yoke, Pole-pieces, and gold terminal pins, have been cryogenically treated to ensure a more natural, lifelike sound.

The redesigned non-resonant body, inspired by the Hana M Series, features a matte Soft Feel Black elastomeric resin paint for damping, along with a brass cap and threaded cartridge mounts. The added weight of the Mk II improves tonearm compatibility, enhancing bass response and overall dynamics.
