The C 399-BluOS includes the Bluesound multi-room music streaming and Dirac Live room correction. Equipped with Wi-Fi and Ethernet the MDC2 BluOS-D module, that is included with the C 399-BluOS and is optional for the standard C 399, lets listeners play music from their favorite streaming services through the C 399, using the acclaimed BluOS Controller app for Android, iOS, macOS, and Windows. Like all BluOS-enabled products, the MDC2 BluOS-D has integrated support for dozens of streaming services; and supports Apple AirPlay 2, Spotify Connect, and Tidal Connect. Two-way communications also enable the MDC2 BluOS-D to stream music from sources connected to the C 399 to BluOS-enabled components in other rooms.

The Dirac Live feature enables precise room acoustics measurement using a provided microphone and intuitive app, enhancing bass clarity, imaging, and timbral accuracy by uploading correction curves to the MDC2 BluOS-D, ensuring room correction for all connected sources to the C 399. Employing NAD’s Hypex HybridDigital nCore amplifier circuitry, the C 399 delivers 180 Watts per channel continuous power, and 250 Watts per channel instantaneous power, along with a 32-bit/384kHz ESS Sabre DAC for stunning musicality, while accommodating various digital and analogue sources with its MM phono stage, two-way apt-X HD Bluetooth, and dedicated headphone amplifier, showcasing NAD’s commitment to delivering unparalleled audio performance.
